Hey Everyone!

Cut it close this week, I'm typing this right now after I managed to upload with 50 seconds to go! A very busy week caught up with me last minute and I just managed to make it!

Was great listening to everyone's uploads last week, truth be told I've got a decent backlog to still listen through! Great to be back and writing again, wasn't entirely sure of the direction for this week's tune but I got it out, would love to hear what you folks think of the vibe of this one!

STAY COOL big_smile

Dang, way to beat the clock this week! Love this theme, it’s got perfect mystery visual novel / fantasy dungeon vibes. Nice work!

Could be in an anime movie as the character is walking through a forest on the way to some heroic act. Some of it gives me Spirited Away vibes.

Heeeeey, nice to see you again in here, Mortistar!

I'm so here for this vibe. Inject that GBA sound into my veins. Time to explore some caverns in an adventure game.

Lovely chords, lovely emotion coming through. It has a sense of journey as well, you and Jerwuqu are on the same wavelength this week.

This is pretty wonderful. I love those soundfont-y GBA/DS vibes so much. That era of game music is almost as nostalgic as the beepy stuff and just really hits hard when used for this sort of mysterious/emotional vibe.

Maybe because the hazy sound of the lower sample rate instruments themselves sort of sound mysterious? Like the real instrument is down the hall behind a door, waiting to be discovered.

Your bell and piano melody are fire, kinda sounds mysterious and your bridge with the flute sound and piano give hope to a bright road ahead.

I love the melody and themes throughout! Everything fits so well and the sound palette is instant nostalgia.

Your track got me like :

Sounds great!  Is this running on a GBA/DS?  If so, what software are you using?

you better step up the listening, it's only gonna get worse

Great song tho, very pretty

Quite a remarkable little track you have here. Love it--- Catchy. In my mind 1:01 part is absolutely begging to have a 20 second synth solo.

bLeSs!

In some ways it gave me 80s vibes, because there was this undeniable melancholy and yet a crisp brightness to the production in spite of the sadness. Does that make sense?
